  just what is the purpose for it?

  i can get to all the stuff without an account except with the account i can look up meeting times of a local congo, or conventions, and donate to the wtbts.

  that seems to be it.in fact, once signed in that is all that is available and have to go back to being logged out to get anything else on the site.. what gives?

  Excuse needed to get out of talk

  i work with the school overseer so he'll be with me all day before the meeting...so being 'sick' isn't an option.

  this really isn't like me to weasel my way out of something....but i've been ridiculously depressed lately and honestly i just don't have it in me to do anything let alone put a talk together.

  everytime i do one it takes allot out of me and let's just say the well is pretty dry.

  Do what I resolved to do a couple of years ago - make your OWN rules as to how to play their 'game', and have resolute answers for anyone in a given circumstance!

  Now the answer: I was handed a talk recently which seriously conflicted what I believe to be the truth. So after a few days, I went to the School Overseer with the slip and said, "I'm sorry Brother, but I've looked over this material and I cannot get my head around the subject material. Can you assign this talk to someone else, and give me another assignment?".

  Be ready to firmly but meekly insist that you CANNOT deal with this assignment.

  If he is so stupid to ask what it is that you can't understand, reply with a question - "Would it be too much of problem to give me another talk?".

  If he still is obtuse, just say to his face, "I'm sorry, but I can't do this talk".

  I'm very prepared (for a specific scenario) to look at our SO in the eye and say, "Please take me off the Ministry School". They do not want you to assert your God-given choice of free will. Tell him straight!

  Any other questions from him, just tell him that you have private and personal issues to deal with, and that you don't want to discuss them with anyone at this time.

  I've really screwed up my CoBE and Secretary's minds by refusing to discuss with them "my personal issues".

  They cannot stand it when you refuse to give them info which brings you under their control; go ahead, do it - take control and let them know it!

  Or simply just go and ask to be taken off the MS, temporarily, for personal reasons!

  NINE REVERSALS IN JULY 15TH WATCHTOWER

  here's what i scavenged from the most notable watchtower i've ever read.

  it may be far more significant than many people realise!.

  and before anyone whinges that one or two are 'old light', the fact remains that all of them are rejecting what was once 'inspired truth' from the revered fds, and disagreeing with any one of these (now current) falsehoods would have resulted in your "stoning to death" and shunning by all whom you loved.

  seems like nowadays every other thing coming off the platform is saying hey we are the only one approved to speak for god and not liking any change we pronounce is your problem not gods..

  My sentiments exactly, when I read the November 15th Watchtower 2013 at JW.ORG.

  Read Page 20, par 17, section 3 - "All of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive,[from the WTBTS] whether these appear..........sound or not."

  "Get ready for fleecing" ( the wool shorn from a sheep at one shearing) came to mind!

  Dead simple:

  Politely ask them why they accept as truth, teachings from Brooklyn which are Scripturally false.

  When they ask you to provide an example, (and they will!!) ask them -

  1) to open their Bible at Revelation 20:1-12 and explain the "new" scrolls teaching to you.

  Then you point out that -

  a) verse 12 doesn't say the scrolls are new; b) they don't contain wonderful new teachings for the Great Crowd - they contain judgements; c) they don't get opened during the 1000 year reign - they get opened after!

  2) If Brooklyn was teaching Bible truths for years, why have they scrapped those 'truths' for contrary teachings, in the July 15th Watchtower 2013?

  You could also point out the fact that rejection of either set of these opposite "truths" when current, would result in a person being disfellowshipped. For rejecting falsehoods????????

  Very grateful to you for the time you took & your expertise, to upload all the 'smoking guns'. (I don't know how to) When the dust settles after these articles have been "absorbed" by the congregations, I'm certain that there will be a considerable number worldwide (especially long-serving ones) who will be troubled by some of the things they have been told are no longer Bible truths.

  And as is expected of such ones, they will keep their mouths shut about their non-acceptance/bewilderment!

  The quotes are significant because they are now defunct/wrong/false/old/mistaken/misleading/disfelowship-able teachings, and they may have been substituted for similar!! (as some might reason!)

  Don't believe what I say, they can be verified by reading the exact wording in the cited pages and paragraphs at http://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/w20130715/

  There have to be repercussions after these 4 Study articles are finished!
